We want to make great beer and to do that we use the best ingredients such as Maris Otter malt, finest whole hops and water from our own borehole. Below is our range of beers - there's something here to suit everyone's taste.

Our beers are available in 9 gallon firkins and can be found on handpulls in pubs in and around Yorkshire but also further afield including London, Scotland and South West England

CASK ALES


Our Golden Ale brewed with a touch of Pale Chocolate and Dark Crystal to accentuate the malt flavour balancing the generous addition of Pioneer, Willamette and Progress hops.

3.9% ABV

A Best Bitter copper coloured with a distinct fruitiness with a robust hop flavours from Cascade and Northdown hops leading to a clean finish.

4.3% ABV

A really pale ale (RPA) with a fresh citrussy grapefruit taste from Junga, Willamette and Styrian Goldings hops.

A strong dark porter with flavours of coffee and liquorice. Made from a blend of 5 different malts balanced with Northdown and Willamette hops

A hoppy strong pale ale brewed using only British grown hops. Deep golden in colour with spice and blackcurrant notes from Pioneer and Bramling Cross hops

A 'houblon nouveau' made with green Goldings hops brewed within 24 hours of harvesting. Russet coloured with a fresh hop taste. Available September. Story here.

A golden wheat beer brewed in support of Yorkshire Wildlife Trust. Lightly hopped with Junga and Cascade hops with the addition of bog myrtle harvested from the North York Moors.

Take the bite out of winter with this warming ruby winter ale lightly spiced with ginger, cinnamon and allspice. Available from November to mid January.

A Yorkshire saison style beer originally brewed to celebrate the Grand Depart of the Tour de France in Yorkshire....and we're brewing it again for the Tour of Yorkshire!!

Brewed with lemon and coriander to make a refreshing and satisfying beer. Ideal after a long bike ride.

Yorkshire Sparkle

 

We've our son to thank for the name Yorkshire Sparkle, it perfectly describes this Really Pale Ale, clear and bright with refreshing grapefruit flavours and hints of tropical fruits.

It surely is a moreish pint.

Kettle Drum

 

That huge drum at the back of the orchestra, the kettle drum, is the inspiration for our best bitter. With great presence and robust flavours it really bangs the drum for beer.

Copper coloured with a distinct fruity flavour from Cascade hops

Baron Saturday

 

Dark and mysterious, Baron Saturday captured our imagination. This voodoo spirit likes his followers to leave small gifts of cigars or peanuts. 

We think this strong dark porter would be his perfect pint. Brewed with five different malts it has hints of coffee, chocolate and liquorice.

Myricale

 

Bringing an old recipe bang up to date this brew uses Bog Myrtle (Myrica gale), an ingredient used in beer in medieval times before hops became popular.

We've made it into a delicious wheat beer allowing the gingery herb-like qualities of this remarkable plant to sing through.

We brew this beer to support the work of YorkshireWildlife Trust and 5p per bottle is donated to them.

Hop Britannia

 

A fanfare for the power and might of British hops. This strong pale ale is brewed entirely with hops grown in the British Isles.

Bramling Cross, Pioneer and Northdown varieties are combined to give a full-bodied, tasty, hoppy beer.
